Scarborough

As a holiday destination, Scarborough really does have it all; dramatic cliffs and castle headland, award-winning beaches, historic harbour, great family attractions and a booming town centre.

Scarborough has a wide and diverse range of activities to suit all ages and preferences .Family attractions like Sealife Sanctuary and Alpamare waterpark , entertainment venues including the Open Air Theatre , Stephen Joseph Theatre or the Scarborough Spa and sporting events held at Olivers Mount Racing Circuit and Scarborough Cricket Club which hosts an annual cricket festival and frequent Yorkshire CC matches.

 

Scarborough is also home to two differing beaches ,with characteristics to suit all tastes . The South Bay and harbour is a busy family seaside beach front with all the traditional holiday activities , whilst the Blue Flag awarded North Beach offers a more relaxed , slightly quieter environment , but yet remains popular for water sports , such as surfing  !
